Tropical Traditions Virgin Coconut Oil

Posted by Angie Saturday, October 22, 2011 0 comments

Did you know you can cook with coconut oil?  Either did I.  I received this Tropical Traditions Virgin Coconut Oil to sample and review.  So I thought I'd make a smoothie for the kids with the coconut oil.  It seemed to be a big hit with the kids.  They wanted some more.  Since they enjoyed it so much, I decided to make a hawaiian pizza with the coconut oil.  The kids said it was the best pizza they have ever had.  I guess I will be using the coconut oil alot more than I thought.  It is a great product.  Definately worth it.  Your kids will enjoy it and get some nutrition out of it.  They won't even know it's good for them.

Virgin Cocounut Oil taste and smells great, it can:
  • Help you lose weight or maintain your already healthy weight.
  • Reduce your risk of heart disease.
  • Lower your cholesterol.
  • Improve conditions in those with diabetes and chronic fatigue.
  • Improve Crohn's IBS and other digestive disorders.
  • Prevent other disease and routine illness with it's powerful antibacterial, antiviral and anti-fungal agents.
  • Increase metabolism and promote healthy thyroid function.
  • Boost your daily energy.
  • Rejuvenate your skin and prevent wrinkles.

I would like to thank Tropical Traditions for the opportunity to sample and review their wonderful Virgin Coconut Oil.

A product sample was received for review.  I was not paid in any form of cash for this posting.  The opinions expressed are my own and were NOT influenced in any way.

Lombardi's of Everett Wa

This is a great place for italian food. The food just melts in your mouth. The servers are great and very prompt.
This a true italian restaurant. Before you get your food, they bring you some sourdough bread that is served with olive oil and a roasted garlic bunch for your bread. It is totally awesome. And the view is worth looking at. You gotta go check it out! I have been here a couple of times and it never dissapoints me.

Blue Buoy Restaurant Westport Washington

Posted by Angie Tuesday, September 27, 2011 2 comments

One of the only restaurant around the Westport area for breakfast.
There was a line to get in the door. It took about 20 minutes to get your order placed. And receive your drink order.

It took about half and hour to finally get our food. It wasn't that spectacular. I could've done a better job at home.

I wish I would've researched this place before we went. It's definately NOT worth it to go there for breakfast. Maybe lunch would've been better. The service was VERY slow. And the food was average.

Half Moon Bay Westport Wa.

Fish Bowl for two!

Here is a picture of their award winning bloody mary that is served with a salad and a plate at Half Moon Bay.

This is a picture of the surf melt sandwich. The crab and shrimp go together marvelously. And the french fries were so crisp that they just melted in your mouth. Maybe that's why it's called a surf melt.

An a bowl of their  award winning clam chowder. It is definately AWESOME. That is the best clam chower I have ever had. It is definately award winning. I make clam chowder at home, but it is nothing compared to there clam chowder. If you are ever in Westport Wa you have to stop and try the chowder and bloody mary.

The view at the Dusty Cellars Winery on Camano Island Washington.

This place is really nice. They have a small selection of wines, with a great view.  The wines are pretty tasty. It's a little drive to get there, but worth it.

Jetty Island

Posted by Angie Wednesday, September 7, 2011 0 comments

Our adventure at Jetty Island in Everett Washington

This is the place to take your kids for the day. There is a free ferry ride over to the island. They have programs for the kids. A couple miles of sandy beach in the city. Don't foget to bring you kite and sand toys. And plenty of sunblock.

There is plenty of birds to watch. And water to play in. The Jetty is only open from July1-Sept 5.
I would recommend this place to everyone. It's a great place to be. You gotta go see it!!!!

This is a great place to get your sweet fix for the day. They have a lot of great treats to choose from. I have tried a few of the sweet treats. My husband enjoys anything I bring home, and keeps asking when I am going back. I can't make my treats anything like they can.  They also have other food, but I haven't tried it yet. I would recommend these treats to anyone.

Naval Ship tour.

Posted by Angie Monday, August 8, 2011 0 comments

Went and took a tour of the Naval ship Sampson.

Got there early before the line started to form. It took about an hour to tour some of the ship. Met some people from Austria while in line. It's cool to see how big the ship really is. I wish they would've shown more of the ship. But for safety reasons we only saw some of the ship. It was a great experience to go aboard it. Next year we will be going back to tour another.

It was such a beautiful day to tour a naval ship.

Review of Arnie's in Mukilteo Washington

This is a great place to eat. And the view is awesome. It's usually a pretty busy place. The prices of the food here is pretty pricy. The best time to eat here is at happy hour. The wait staff are really patient and on top of it. I would definately recommend it to everyone.
